In-network
Cigna Therapists
MindView Therapy is in-network with Cigna in New York and Indiana. You pay your plan's copay or coinsurance instead of the full session fee, and any unmet deductible may apply first. Cigna runs therapy through a separate behavioral health network, so we verify that benefit specifically before your first session.
Booking takes about two minutes. It is a short form, mostly checkboxes. Opens our secure client portal.

Does MindView take Cigna?
Yes. MindView Therapy is in-network with Cigna in both New York and Indiana. That includes our Queens and Buffalo offices, telehealth anywhere in New York, and telehealth across Indiana.
Because we are in-network, you pay your plan’s copay or coinsurance rather than the full session fee. You are not billed the difference between our rate and what Cigna pays.
Why does my card say Cigna but my therapy benefit say Evernorth?
Because Cigna runs behavioral health through Evernorth Behavioral Health. Same card, same plan, different network.
The practical consequence is worth understanding, because it catches people out. Therapy sits on a separate network from your medical coverage. A provider who takes Cigna for a physical is not automatically in-network for therapy, and the reverse is also true. When you check whether a therapist takes Cigna, you are really asking about the behavioral health network.
We are in-network on the behavioral health side, which is the side that pays for therapy.
What will I pay?
That depends on your specific Cigna plan, and we will not invent a number.
Most people pay a copay per session. Some plans use coinsurance, a percentage of the negotiated rate. Some apply a deductible first, meaning you pay the negotiated rate until the deductible is met and your copay takes over.
You can see your own behavioral health copay by signing in to myCigna. We verify it independently anyway. We confirm your benefits before your first session and tell you what you will owe, so there is no surprise bill afterward.
Do I need a referral, and is telehealth covered?
Most Cigna plans let you see an in-network behavioral health provider without a referral. Some plan designs require one, or require prior authorization for outpatient care. We check this during the benefit verification rather than after a claim is denied.
Telehealth is covered on most Cigna plans, commonly at the same benefit level as an in-office visit. That is how our Indiana clients are seen, and it is available anywhere in New York as well.
