In Mira's words

You have been holding it together for a long time, and translating between two worlds while you do it. That cost usually stays invisible until something gives.

I work with adults on anxiety, depression, things carried from much earlier, and the weight of family and cultural expectations that were never up for discussion. I see clients in English and in Arabic. Most people find there are things they can only say in one of the two, and you should not have to translate yourself in order to be understood.

Sessions here have a point. We work out what is holding the pattern in place, agree what we are changing, and check whether it is moving. You help build the plan rather than receive it. My training is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and trauma-focused work, and how I use it depends on what you bring and what your circumstances will actually allow.

Reaching out can feel like admitting something, and in a lot of families it is treated that way. It is not. Deciding to work on this is a deliberate thing to do, and it is usually the hardest part of the whole process.

Pick a time that works and we will start there.

Not an exhaustive list. If what you are dealing with is not here, it is still worth asking. Call (646) 493-4007 and ask.

Most therapy has no structure. Ours has four stages and a scoreboard.

On most platforms you are matched with whoever has an open slot, and what happens next depends entirely on which therapist you drew. There is no shared method and no way to tell whether it is working. Every MindView clinician runs the same format, and measures it.

  1. 01

    Intake

    What is actually going on.

Your first session maps what brought you in. You rate what you are feeling 0 to 10, and that becomes the baseline every later session is measured against.

  2. 02

    Your history

    Why it is happening.

A full walk through your history, relationships, work, and health, to pinpoint what is driving the problem rather than guessing at it. You can decline any question.

  3. 03

    Treatment plan

The plan, built against those causes.

Written and collaborative. Concrete goals, the methods your therapist will use, plus one personal goal that matters to you outside any diagnosis.

  4. 04

    Monthly review

    Proof it is working.

Once a month, standardized measures. You see the trend, and the approach changes if it is flat.

Who you get

A license is where our training starts, not where it ends.

Mira was state-licensed before seeing a single client. Then came training with us: every modality on the next tab, and how to match one to the problem in front of them. Held to one standard across the whole practice.

  • The problem picks the method

Avoidance-driven panic gets exposure work. A pattern repeating across relationships gets psychodynamic work.

  • Not your therapist's favorite

Most practices use the one approach they trained in, on everyone. Ours are trained across all of them.

  • It changes if the data says so

If the monthly measures are not moving, the approach gets revisited. Not repeated for another six months.

What Mira is trained in

Every MindView clinician trains across these, then matches the method to the problem rather than applying one favourite to everyone.

Therapy is matched to what you bring in, so the work is not limited to this list.

What does Mira work on with clients?

Anything you bring. Mira often works with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and the pressure that comes with family and cultural expectations. She works in English and Arabic, so you can explain it in whichever language it makes sense in. It is fine to book before you can name what is wrong.

Does Mira offer therapy in Arabic?

Yes. Mira sees clients in Arabic or English, and you can switch between them in a session. Most people find there are things they can only say in one of the two, and you do not have to translate yourself to be understood.

What is Mira's approach?

The method is matched to what you actually came in with, never applied off a shelf. Care has a clear structure, so you always know what is coming next. And progress gets checked on a schedule, so if something is not moving, the plan changes.

Not the right fit?

Every MindView clinician is licensed and trained in the same method, but unique in their own way.
