In-network
Aetna Therapists
MindView Therapy is in-network with Aetna in New York and Indiana. You pay your plan's copay or coinsurance rather than the full session fee, and any unmet deductible may apply first. Aetna plan designs vary, especially employer-sponsored ones, so we verify your specific benefits before your first session.

Does MindView take Aetna?
Yes. MindView Therapy is in-network with Aetna in both New York and Indiana. That includes our Queens and Buffalo offices, telehealth anywhere in New York, and telehealth across Indiana.
In-network is the part that matters for your wallet. Aetna has a negotiated rate with us, so you owe your copay or coinsurance rather than the full session fee. You are not billed the difference between our rate and what Aetna pays.
How does Aetna cover therapy?
Aetna behavioral health benefits typically cover outpatient individual, couples, and family therapy with an in-network provider. Therapy sits alongside your medical benefits rather than on a separate carve-out card, so the member services number on the back of your card routes to the right place.
Most Aetna plans let you see an in-network behavioral health provider without a referral from a primary care doctor. Some HMO designs are the exception. That is a plan-level detail, not an Aetna-wide rule, which is why we check it rather than guess.
What will I pay?
That depends on your specific Aetna plan, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Most people pay a copay per session. Some plans use coinsurance, a percentage of the negotiated rate. Some require you to meet a deductible first, which means you pay the negotiated rate until it is met and your copay takes over from there.
Aetna plan designs vary widely, especially employer-sponsored ones. Two people can both carry an Aetna card and owe very different amounts. We verify your benefits before your first session and tell you what you will owe. No surprise bill after the fact.
Does Aetna cover telehealth?
Most Aetna plans cover telehealth therapy at the same benefit level as an in-office visit. Aetna does not generally treat a video session as a lesser or separate service.
This matters most in Indiana, where MindView sees clients by telehealth, and it matters in New York whenever getting to an office is the obstacle rather than the therapy itself. We confirm your telehealth benefit when we check your coverage.
How do I get started?
Book online through our secure client portal. The form takes about two minutes and is mostly checkboxes. Have your Aetna card nearby.
We verify your coverage, confirm your cost, and get you scheduled. We are accepting new clients and respond within one business day. If you would rather talk to a person first, call (646) 493-4007.
