Why MindView

Most therapy in Fishers has no structure. Ours has four stages and a scoreboard.

Plenty of practices take Aetna. What you get here is one format for every client: a full intake, a written treatment plan, and standardized measures reviewed with you every month, so you can see whether it is working.

  1. 01

    Intake

What is actually going on, rated 0 to 10 as your baseline.

  2. 02

    Your history

Why it is happening. History, relationships, work, health.

  3. 03

    Treatment plan

Written and collaborative, built against those causes.

  4. 04

    Monthly review

Standardized measures, reviewed with you. You see the trend.

A license is where our training starts, not where it ends.

Every clinician is state-licensed before they see a single client. Then they train with us across every modality, and how to match one to the problem in front of them.

Aetna in Fishers, in short

MindView Therapy is in-network with Aetna and serves Fishers by secure video. We do not have a Fishers office. We check your plan before your first session and tell you what you will pay.

Aetna members in Fishers can stop cross-referencing directories. We are in-network with Aetna, sessions run by secure video anywhere in Indiana, and we confirm your exact per-session cost before your first appointment.

Does MindView take Aetna in Fishers?

Yes. MindView Therapy is in-network with Aetna, and we see Fishers clients by secure video anywhere in Indiana.

In-network is the part that decides the price. Aetna has a negotiated rate with us, so you pay your plan’s copay or coinsurance rather than the full session fee, and you are never billed the difference.

Equally important honesty: we do not have a Fishers office. Our Indiana practice is based in Carmel, about 10 miles from Fishers. Every Fishers session happens by video.

Fishers, honestly described

Fishers is about ten miles from our Carmel base, practically next door, and sessions still run by secure video, because proximity was never the obstacle. The obstacle in a town of commuters and young families is the hour itself, and a video session is the version of weekly therapy that survives a Nickel Plate District work schedule and two kids’ practices.

One of the fastest-growing cities in Indiana fills with people mid-build: new mortgages, new managers, new babies. From Geist to Saxony to Fall Creek, what we hear most is high-functioning anxiety, burnout that looks like irritability at home, and couples who have not had an unscheduled conversation in months.

Referrals on Aetna plans

Most Aetna plans let you book an in-network behavioral health provider without a referral from a primary care doctor. A minority of HMO designs require one. That is a plan-level rule rather than an Aetna-wide one, so we check it while verifying your benefits and tell you before it can become a denied claim.

Is a video session a lesser session?

The research says no, carefully: video-delivered therapy has generally shown outcomes comparable to office-based therapy for the outpatient concerns we treat in Fishers and everywhere else. Not superior, not a compromise, comparable.

And because averages are not you, we track your case specifically: standardized measures every month reviewed together. A flat trend is information, and the plan changes in response to it.

The money question, answered honestly

Most Aetna members pay a copay per session.

We verify your benefits before your first session and tell you what you will owe. No statement-shock afterward.

A structure you can see from the outside

Your first session is an intake, ending with a 0 to 10 rating of what you are carrying. That becomes your baseline. The work then fills in history and context at the depth you permit, and the treatment plan is co-written in your language.

After those three sessions the rhythm is weekly, and once a month the standardized measures tell both of you whether the plan deserves to survive unchanged.

One license, the whole state

Indiana care at MindView runs on one thing: a therapist licensed for the whole state, working with adults (18+). A video session from Fishers is the same session a Carmel client gets, same structure, same measures, same plan verification, because the license covers the state, not a radius.

What else do you take in Indiana?

For Indiana we are in-network with exactly three plans: Aetna, Cigna, and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. If your Fishers household has access to more than one, the benefits check can cover both so you start on the cheaper one.

Getting started from Fishers

The whole intake path is online: book through our secure client portal in about 30 seconds, keep your Aetna card handy, and we run the benefits check before your first session, so the cost is a known number, not a guess.

We are accepting new clients and answer within one business day. Or start with a conversation instead: (646) 493-4007.

What Aetna covers here

  • We check your plan before your first session and tell you what you will pay.
  • Aetna's member site shows your outpatient mental health benefit if you want to preview it before we run the formal verification.
  • Aetna - we are in-network.
  • Because we are in-network, Aetna's negotiated rate applies. Your share is the copay, coinsurance, or unmet deductible your plan sets, not the full session fee.
  • Every plan is verified before the first appointment, so your Fishers session cost is a known figure, not an estimate.

How to book with Aetna

  1. 1

Choose a time and book. It takes about 30 seconds.

  2. 2

Before your first appointment we verify the behavioral health benefit on your exact plan and tell you the cost.

  3. 3

Log in from Fishers for your intake session by secure video, and we take it from there.

What does therapy here actually look like?

The first three sessions follow a clear structure, so you always know what is coming next.

  1. Getting started

Your first session is an intake. Your therapist asks what brought you in and about your history, and you rate the intensity of what you are feeling from 0 to 10. That becomes your baseline. You set a recurring weekly time before you leave.

  2. Mapping what is behind it

Your therapist walks through your life across stages, looking for the patterns and strengths behind what brought you in. You can decline any question and keep any answer short.

  3. Writing the plan together

You and your therapist build the plan together. Goals are tied to what you came in for, each with concrete objectives, plus one personal goal that matters to you.

  4. Ongoing

Weekly sessions work the plan. Once a month you and your therapist review standardized measures together to see whether it is working, and the plan is adjusted from what they show.

Therapy here is measured, not guessed

Once a month you have a measurement-based care review. You complete standardized measures, and your therapist reviews the trend with you. If something is not working, the plan changes. Regular therapy is the work. The review is the navigation system that keeps it pointed at the right target.

Sessions are weekly for the first two months to build a foundation, then frequency is reassessed with you. You set the pace, and you share only what you are comfortable sharing.

Use your Aetna benefits and get started.

Aetna questions

Do you take Aetna in Fishers?

Yes, we are in-network with Aetna for Indiana, Fishers included. Sessions run by secure video statewide under an Indiana license, and your benefits are verified before the first one.

Do you have an office in Fishers?

No. We do not have a Fishers office; our Indiana practice is based in Carmel, about 10 miles away, and every Fishers session is held by secure video.

What does in-network with Aetna mean for my bill?

It means Aetna's negotiated rate applies, so your cost is your plan's copay or coinsurance, with any unmet deductible first. The difference between our fee and the negotiated rate is never billed to you.

What will therapy cost me with Aetna?

The in-network arrangement means you owe your plan's copay or coinsurance, never the full fee, though a deductible may apply before either. We verify your plan and confirm the exact amount before you are seen.
