Who this is for
This is for graduate students in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy who need a practicum or internship placement and want it to actually teach them something.
What you will learn
Most trainees leave school knowing theory and not much about how a practice runs. Here you see the whole picture: how a client comes in, how an intake becomes a treatment plan, how notes are written, and how standardized measures track whether therapy is working. You do this with supervision, not on your own.
If you are already licensed or on a limited permit, the limited permit track is the better fit.

What programs do you accept trainees from?
Graduate programs in mental health counseling, social work, and marriage and family therapy. Bring your school's placement requirements and we will see whether we can meet them.
Is the placement supervised?
Yes. Supervision and training are central to the placement. You will not be left to figure it out on your own.
